About Southlands British International School

Our School

Established in 1976, Southlands is an outstanding British International School in the south of Rome. We offer a holistic British international education for students aged three to 18 on a spacious rural campus.  Our combination of small classes and dedicated teachers ensure that every one of our students reaches their full potential.

Southlands is proud to be a part of Globeducate, meaning we are able to offer our students opportunities for studying abroad, and taking part in international competitions with other schools in the group. This not only enriches the multi-cultural nature of the educational environment and life experience of our students, but also generates companionship, and reinforces value-systems.

Globeducate

Globeducate has a network of more than 55 schools across three continents, welcoming more than 28,000 students each day. Each institution is dedicated to academic excellence and shaping students to become global citizens of the future.

Like other Globeducate schools, Southlands British International School is committed to the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. Within this commitment, we have entered into partnerships with international organisations such as the Eco-schools Project and WWF (World Wildlife Fund), participating in global school projects that involve students, teachers and parents, and bringing together a worldwide community of more than 100,000 people.

These partnerships are a great opportunity for our students, allowing them to interact with students from different countries and cultures to address some of the environmental challenges we face and to gain awareness of how to tackle them. Our aim is to ensure that our students are committed to making the world a better place for everyone to live in, preparing them to embrace the great challenges of our time.
