Job overview

Teacher of Science (inc Physics/Chemistry) required to join our Science team. An exciting, varied and interesting role for those who love their Sciences.  Would suit well qualified teacher or NQT who can teach across the full age and ability rnage up to and including Sixth Form in this highly successful Academy.

Highcliffe is also on the doorstep of the New Forest, meaning that equestrian sports, cycling, walking and running are also prominent features of local life. London, the South East and South West are easily reached by road or rail links. The European mainlan is easlily reached by ferry from Weymouth, Poole and Portsmouth, while Bournemouth and Southampton aiports offer continential and worldwide flights.

Highcliffe School converted to Academy from Foundation status in June 2011. There are currently 1460 students on roll including 278 in the growing Sixth Form. Highcliffe serves a wide catchment area drawing students from Christchurch area (Dorset County Council) and from its traditional feeders in the New Forest National Park (Hampshire County Council). In a typical year students transfer from approximately 20 feeder schools. Demand for places is high with the school being oversubscribed annually.
