Teacher of Science (KS4 Coordinator).

Tes is currently supporting a friendly and supportive Secondary Academy, based in Worsley, Manchester. The school is looking to add a Teacher of Science to its progressive and supportive Science Department ideally starting in January 2022.

The role will include teaching and coordinating the delivery of Science at KS3, GCSE across year groups 7 to 11 with KS4 coordination TLR on offer also. You will support the Head of Science to enhance provision and will get the chance to get involved with exciting project work throughout the year. Project work will include revising schemes of work and ensuring the curriculum is engaging to all learners alongside projects that support student attainment, well-being and engagement within the wider school. You’ll also lead by example, supporting learners to achieve to the best of their ability and you’ll enjoy that great feeling when your learners achieve grades beyond their dreams.

These, along with their drama productions and many trips, are what makes our community so vibrant.  The Gardening club won a £2,000 grant from the RHS last year and have built a beautiful sensory garden for all to enjoy.  They are always looking for new ways to develop all learners outside the classroom and want our students to become well-rounded individuals, prepared for future life."
