Having converted from a 11-14 high school to an 11-16 academy in 2015 and the introduction of a new leadership team for August 2017, Redmoor has experienced rapid and sustained improvement, including being one of the most improved schools nationally in 2018 and consistently positive Progress 8 scores in the last 4 years.
Our Science teaching team consists of eight vibrant, passionate and experienced teachers who are committed to ensuring high standards of teaching and learning for all of our students at Redmoor Academy. We deliver challenging and engaging lessons and are proud of the progress and outcomes the students achieve in the department, as well as the ever improving standards of teaching in our department. As a team, we are dedicated to developing our students' love of all 3 sciences across both key stages and we strive to make our curriculum varied and challenging in order to do so. We have recently renovated and added to our science facilities and pride ourselves in the delivering practical and engaging lessons that help students to achieve the best possible outcomes. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic practitioner who will contribute to the development of Science and help drive forward our agenda of continuous improvement. This exciting and challenging post requires a creative and resourceful teacher, a team player with excellent subject knowledge.
This is a fantastic opportunity for you to shape the lives of young people in Hinckley, to help raise aspirations and achievement for our students.
