Our highly successful Science department is seeking to appoint a Teacher of Science across Key Stages 3, 4 & 5. Applications from subject specialists or science ‘generalists’ are both welcome. Would suit an ECT.
The Academy is the most oversubscribed school in Islington and has excellent results at GCSE and in our academically selective Sixth Form.
The Good Schools Guide recently visited us and described us as “a shining example of an excellent school” where “fabulous, engaged and open-minded students listened to each other and spoke kindly of each other”

St Mary Magdalene Academy aims to ensure every individual is valued and cared for, and to help children become responsible citizens of the future. The school strives to provide a varied and stimulating curriculum that caters to every student. The motto is, "Show by a good life that your works are done by gentleness born of wisdom" (James 3:13).
The school specialises in the humanities and global citizenship, but also concentrates on RE, geography, maths and science. Enrichment activities such as the Duke of Edinburgh Award, sports, music, drama, chess, debating and Latin are all available to foster greater talents in each child.
