Ruislip High School opened in 2006 due to the demand for secondary school places in the local community.  In its short history, Ruislip High School has become a school of choice; it is a school both in, and for, its local community.  

In June 2018, Ruislip High School secured another excellent set of external examination results. At GCSE level, 74% of students attained 9-4 grades in both English and Mathematics and 50% for both 9-5 grades. At GCSE, 77% of grades for Biology and Physics were grade 7 or above, with 65% of Chemistry students attaining these top grades. In Combined Science, 60% of students attained at least a 4-4, with 40% of students attaining 5-5 or higher.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly effective individual to teach Science.  

The successful applicant will:

  • be an excellent and ambitious classroom teacher
  • have a good understanding of the current educational developments, especially those relating to classroom based practice

  • have an enthusiastic and positive approach within and beyond the classroom

Ruislip High School, based in Middlesex, is a secondary academy for girls and boys between the ages of 11 and 18. Currently there are 1300 students enrolled at the school, located in Hillingdon. It opened in 2006 and was converted to academy status in on April 1, 2014.
