The directors wish to appoint to the following post to commence Easter 2019 or September 2019 for a NQT.

Teacher of Science - Main scale 

The Ian Ramsey Church of England Academy is a popular, over-subscribed academy for 11-16 students in Stockton on Tees. There are approximately 1170 students on roll with a pan of 237 in each year group.

Required for an Easter start or September for a NQT, an outstanding Teacher of Science with the ability to teach Physics or Biology an advantage. The successful applicant will have excellent interpersonal skills and will together with members of the Science Department, maintain a relentless focus on teaching and learning and raising achievement. This position would be suitable for either an experienced teacher or an NQT. The Academy is committed to the well-being of its staff and there is a comprehensive induction programme. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be subject to enhanced clearance through the Disclosure and Barring Service.
