Job Role: Teacher of Science (Fixed Term) - Full time

Start date: September 2021

We are looking to appoint an inspiring teacher of Science for a fixed term position until 31st August 2022. This exciting and challenging post requires an enthusiastic, hardworking, conscientious and energetic individual with a strong track record. Reporting to the Department Leader of Science, you will provide high quality teaching that facilitates and encourages a learning experience that gives students the opportunity to achieve their individual potential. The Science Department has established a knowledge based curriculum incorporating the latest proven strategies to promoting rapid progress by all of our students.

Within the team, you would be supported by a wealth of strong and experienced Science teachers, with the majority of these being exam markers and middle and senior leaders of the school. Many members of the team have mentored, coached and facilitated CPD courses. Therefore, there is great provision for ambitious and dedicated newly qualified teachers to develop into outstanding practitioners.

Kingsdown School is part of a Multi Academy Trust and joined the River Learning Trust in 2017. The successful applicant will join the School as a River Learning Trust employee.
