Job overview
We wish to appoint a teacher who can offer 3 days. We are looking for an enthusiastic and well-qualified Science specialist who is able to teach general Science in KS3 and Biology in KS4. The ability to offer some A Level Biology would be a distinct advantage. You will join a mutually supportive team of Science specialists in a department which is well resourced, innovative and very successful: the department achieves excellent examination results at all levels. Interviews on Thursday 23 November.

The Thomas Adams School is a co-educational, secondary school with sixth form in Wem, Shropshire. At its most recent inspection, there were 1,260 students aged 11-18 on the school roll, including 200 in the sixth form. The school has accommodation for 60 boarding students. The Boarding House received its Ofsted inspection which was graded as Good. We are part of the 3-18 Education Trust.
The secondary school dates back to 1650, when Sir Thomas Adams founded a free school in the area. A famous former pupil is comedian and actor Greg Davies.
