We are seeking a teacher dedicated to supporting students with SEND.
You will work alongside the SEND team delivering our SEND pathways (eg. nurture and catch-up groups) in small teaching groups. This is a real opportunity to make a difference to the lives of our young people. These young people may not yet be 'secondary ready' and need the support of skilled teaching staff to ensure a successful transition.
Smith’s Wood is a special place to learn and work. Students that choose to study with us and colleagues that choose to work with us tell us what an incredible school this is.

Smith’s Wood is currently at a pivotal point in its history; this is an exciting opportunity to be involved in transforming the future direction of Smith’s Wood to make it one of the leading schools in the country.
If you are an outstanding SEND practitioner with drive, resilience and ambition then we would love to hear from you.
This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
