Job overview

A unique career opportunity to work in a brand new, state of the art £34 million school and join a fledgling department, starting with just Year 7 and 8.

This is a genuinely unique opportunity to take on an exciting role at the first ‘all through’ school in Essex.

The Beaulieu Park School opened the doors to 60 Reception children in September 2018. In September 2019, another cohort were welcomed into the Primary School, together with 180 Year 7 students. We are pleased that we are oversubscribed with families nominating us as their first choice school again next year. The school will grow one year at a time until it is full in 2024. We are already planning our 6th form provision.

We are looking to appoint a  teacher of Spanish to play a pivotal role in the development of our Spanish department.

This role will suit an NQT or a more experienced colleague that has the enthusiasm, passion and drive that would enable not only them, but our students to thrive. We can promise the most impeccably behaved, polite and motivated students and an environment where your priority will always be teaching. Joining us will mean joining the Beaulieu family, one that we are very proud of.

This is an evolving role and each year additional teachers will be added to the department to work with you and the existing Head of Spanish.

If you would like an informal conversation with the Principal, or to arrange a visit, please contact Mrs Gibbons on 01245 943400 or email vgibbons@beaulieuparkschool.com

Your supporting statement must include references to the job description and person specification. In addition, please explain why you are the right person for the role, specifically in relation to The Beaulieu Park School.

Start date: September 2020

The closing date is 09.00 on Monday 20th April 2020. Interviews will be held the second half of that week.

NB: Should schools be closed during this recruitment round, we will find a way to conduct an interview in an alternate way.

The Beaulieu Park School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. The successful candidate will be required to complete an Enhanced DBS check.
