Job overview
Itchen Sixth Form College requires a permanent full-time or substantial part-time teacher with a real passion for their subject to join our Uniformed Public Services, Law & Criminology Faculty.
We welcome applicants who have experience within the Emergency or Military Services sector who are educated to degree level and ideally have a teaching qualification. You must be able to show a clear commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning for students and will be required to teach on both level 2 and 3 courses. The role requires someone with good communication, organisational and motivational skills, who is patient, empathetic and engaging and has the desire and ability to inspire all students to reach their full potential.

Itchen College is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational further education college in Hampshire, serving students from the age of 16-19. The college, situated in Southampton has approximately 1,558 learners on record.
Itchen College was founded in 1906 as a co-educational secondary school and later Itchen Grammar School. It welcomes learners from across the world, with 10% making up international students. Facilities on the campus include a sports centre, performing arts block – features Apple Mac suites, recording studios and soundproof music rooms, and a Student Centre for students to relax in during their study breaks.
