We are looking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and inspirational Maths teacher to join our experienced team of Maths specialists at Cromwell Community College.  The successful candidate will be required to teach across KS3 and KS4, and potentially KS5.

We are a popular, growing and successful school, we are also the first all-through (4-18) school in Cambridgeshire.  It is imperative that we ensure our pupils access a curriculum, which is relevant and ambitious throughout their journey at Cromwell.  The Maths Faculty at Cromwell is a successful department and popular with pupils at both GCSE and A-Level, and is striving to become outstanding. Pupils enjoy their maths lessons and staff are hardworking, enthusiastic and committed.

Cromwell Community College is a co-educational secondary school located in the market town of Chatteris, Cambridgeshire. It educates around 1,100 pupils aged 11-18. The school became a comprehensive in 1969 and converted to academy status in 2012. 

Over the years, Cromwell Community College has seen extensive redevelopment and modernisation, with the most recent project completed in 2012. The school has its own sixth form, with dedicated facilities and study areas for post-16 students.

Pupils enjoy a wide choice of subjects suited to their abilities and interests. The most able pupils are steered towards three sciences, humanities and foreign languages to enable more of them to gain the English Baccalaureate (EBacc) qualification. A small proportion of less-able pupils follow a curriculum matched to their needs and abilities in order to develop their literacy and numeracy, promote their social skills and study qualifications suited to the workplace.”
