Position Information 

Bonnyrigg High School is a Partially Selective High School (2021 enrolment 1670+) students, including 98% from a non-English speaking background, 50 International students and 36 Aboriginal students). The school has exemplary student welfare programs and a focus on quality teaching. Learning priorities include literacy, numeracy, High Potential, vocational education and training programs (7 courses) and maximising student engagement through technology.  Bonnyrigg High is recognised as a high achieving school in both NAPLAN and top 20 HSC in 2016-20. The school offers a wide range of academic, vocational, sporting, creative and co-curricular experiences. Sporting facilities include: indoor basketball centre, both indoor ad outdoor fitness gyms, undercover basketball/netball activity areas and 3 ovals. The school is also involved in the NSW Health program, Physical Activity For Everyone (PA4E).

Specific Selection Criteria 

Approval to teach PDHPE and Willingness to teach stage 5 and 6 PDHPE elective subjects, Community and Family Studies and Sport, Lifestyle & Recreation. 

Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with students, staff, and the wider community.

Demonstrated capacity to cater to a wide range of student's needs to enhance their learning outcomes.

Capacity to organise extra-curricular activities to improve the learning and wellbeing outcomes of students.
