 The successful applicant will:

  • hold current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers; and
  • be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.

We are seeking a committed, dynamic and capable teacher (Prep to Year 6), to join us. This full time, fixed term position will begin in January, 2019 for the full school year. The successful applicant will bring successful teaching experience, understanding of Australian Curriculum and contemporary pedagogical practices, will be invigorated by their work and deeply committed to every student's learning achievement, progress and well-being. They will enjoy working collaboratively and productively with students, colleagues and parents and have great communication, classroom management and organisational skills. Ability to create a happy, safe and engaging learning-focused environment is a must. Please submit resume and briefly address criteria in application.

Stella Maris is a primary school of 830 students, located in a rainforest setting at Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast. Staff members are committed to having our students achieve to their individual and collective potential through curriculum which is differentiated and learning and teaching which is collaborative, contemporary and high quality.
