About the position

We are now seeking an Assistant Team Leader (Teacher's Aide) to join our Sunshine Coast campus in a full-time, term-time capacity.

As an Assistant Team Leader, you will contribute to the provision of a quality education service by assisting and supporting our Team Leaders (Teachers) with the preparation and enhancement of learning materials and associated activities. 

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide learning space supervision and support as directed
  • Administration assistance duties including typing Team Leader notes and work programs
  • Maintain anecdotal records of Young People to encourage and promote the learning experience
  • Assist Young People in complying with Team Leader instruction as required
  • Creating positive and proactive relationships with young people, parents and staff that leads to a supportive and positive College community

Required qualifications:

  • Certificate III in Education Support or equivalent (or be in the process of completing these studies) 
  • Current Working with Children Blue Card
  • A current driver's licence.
  • Right to Work in Australia.
