C-STEM Department Teacher – Skills Village
Salary - £22,424 - £24,452
55 days annual leave per annum (including bank and public holidays)
Reporting directly to the Course Leader, you will prepare, deliver and assess learners over a range of different levels working at the Skills Village Location in Barnsley. Working closely with the Course Leader, you will provide curriculum support in accordance with the individual needs of learners, ensuring maximum success is gained. It is anticipated that the Construction Department and Skills Village will grow significantly over the next 2 years, and as such you will assist in developing the programmes the College offer.
This is a great opportunity for a person with drive, ambition and ability to carve out a successful career in education whilst working for an outstanding college. You must hold a Teaching qualification (PGCE/Cert.Ed.); a Level 3 qualification in a relevant construction subject area and have experience of working within an education setting and experience of working on Multiskills programmes would be advantage (i.e plastering; brickwork; decorating; joinery).
