Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a full time Teacher (Primary/Secondary) to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in a local SEND school for both Primary and Secondary aged students who have SLD, PMLD and ASC in Durham. This position will begin on a supply basis with the view of leading to a permanent role within the school.

This is a specialist provision which has an excellent reputation. The behaviour and attitude of the children is outstanding, and children enjoy coming to the school to learn.

The desired Teacher (Primary/Secondary) will be supported by an outstanding and passionate management team, and will work alongside some excellent practitioners, who put the children at the heart of everything they do. The school are looking for someone who can adapt to teaching both Secondary and Primary aged students with complex needs. Due to the nature of the students, previous experience of working with young people with SLD, PMLD and ASC is essential. 

To be considered for the position of Teacher (Primary/Secondary) you must:

· Have experience teaching Primary and Secondary aged students either in a mainstream or in a SEND setting.

· Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

· Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of practitioners who all pull together to inspire in what is a challenging environment.

· Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
