Job overview

Teacher/Tutor of Physics

Part time, commence Autumn Term

We are seeking an enthusiastic, professional teacher, keen to grow their career in our innovative school.

The role is part time (from 0.2 FTE 1 day per week) and would ideally suit someone seeking part time hours teaching Physics A level to very small tutor groups, or on a 1:1 basis.  We would therefore also welcome applications from candidates from a further education background.

Alternatively, further hours may be available to candidates able to offer a second subject.

Our school has grown in size in September 2020 and moved to superb, state of the art premises in Cobham - it's an exciting time to join our friendly staff team.

As well as its own competitive pay scale, other benefits include:

  • Small class sizes of up to 26 pupils
  • Small sixth form tutor groups
  • Holidays generally aligned to the independent sector
  • A stimulating environment where pupils enjoy learning and behaviour is excellent
  • A genuinely friendly environment where all staff and pupils are known to each other.

Visits and/or informal discussions are most welcome, please contact Sonya Davies on 0330 330 0237 or hr@cobhamfreeschool.org.uk

For further details, please see the school website.

Candidates are welcome to use either the TES application form available on this site, or the school's own application form available on the school website.  CVs will not be accepted.

Cobham Free School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.  An enhanced DBS and other relevant checks will be undertaken for successful candidates.
