Lucton School has Houseparent/Teacher vacancies for January 2019. With the accommodation available, there is scope to offer posts to single teachers or a couple with a family.

Teaching posts available include English and PE though most subjects could be considered and the ability to teach to A Level would be needed. Teaching houseparents normally teach 0.7 of a timetable, though there is scope for less or no teaching, with appropriate adjustment to the salary. Primarily, we are looking for middle and senior school teaching, though there is a possibility that we could also find work for a teacher in the Prep School.

Lucton is a 300 year old co-educational day and boarding school and takes pupils from 6 months right through to 18 year olds leaving Lucton’s Sixth Form for university. Lucton is situated in 55 acres of rural north Herefordshire, 12 minute drive from Leominster, 20 minutes from Ludlow and 30 minutes from Hereford. There are currently 350 on the registers with 90 boarders.
