TEACHING & LEARNING ASSISTANT -  B GRADE  –  p/t Fixed Term Contract


We are looking to appoint a B Grade innovative temporary Teaching & Learning Assistant to join our team of dedicated and committed professionals from 1st September 2022.  You will need to have an interest in working with young people and be looking for an opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in this area. 


Many of our Teaching & Learning Assistants have undertaken training opportunities provided and have gone on to careers in teaching.


The hours of work are 27.5 hours per week, 47.15 weeks per year pro rata contracts.  This equates to 5.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday inclusive, 8.25am to 2.50pm (term time only).


The salary scale for this post is LGA Scale 3 currently £19,650-£20,034 pa, full-time equivalent.  The actual pro rata starting salary is £13,242-£13,507 per annum (47.15 weeks per year).  There are also opportunities to increase your salary by running lunchtime and homework clubs.
