Teaching Assistant, 1-1 SEN Support:  10 hours per week

Moordown St John's CE Primary School is seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant, initially on a fixed term basis of 10 hours per week (times to be confirmed),to provide teaching and learning support for a pupil with Speech, Language and Communiction Needs.   

We are looking for a self-motivated and committed person to work alongside talented staff and contribute to the ethos of this friendly and popular school.      

The successful applicant will have a proven track record of working with children and:

  • be able to support and promote an excellent desire for learning in all our children 
  • be able to support and promote an excellent spiritual and reflective learning ethos 
  • be creative and flexible in the way he/she works 
  • have a sense of humour 
  • be committed to his/her own professional development and participate fully in the life of the school and community.
