Job overview
Lincroft Academy is looking to appoint enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistants to support learning and student needs within our specialist Autism Provision. Your role will be to assist with the care of individuals or groups of students from the ASC Provision, to support their learning and development, and ensure their safety and well-being. Experience of working within a similar environment would be preferred although training can be provided for an applicant wishing to gain experience in this field. You will demonstrate high levels of motivation and have the ability to help students with special needs learn as effectively as possible both in group situations and on their own.
We encourage enthusiastic and motivated candidates who share a genuine passion to the post to apply. Hours of work are 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 3.30pm, term-time only (plus 5 training days).
