Days Lane Primary School is a popular over-subscribed standalone academy with an inclusive, caring and stimulating learning environment. We are looking to appoint an experienced teaching assistant for 25 hours per week to support as a general teaching assistant in class. The job role will also include being responsible for the safety and welfare of children during the lunch hour and to deliver whole class teaching during the teachers’ planning time (PPA) in EYFS/KS1, and when required across the school. The successful candidate will demonstrate a professional attitude, a real desire to put children’s needs first and the ability to work well in a team. The working pattern will be 5 days per week, starting at 8:15am and finishing at 1:15pm.
