Grade/SCP: SRS Band 3 SCP 6-9

Salary: Actual pro rata salary £15,814.59 to £16,781.95

Hours: 34 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

Contract: Fixed term to 31st August 2023

Start Date: 1st September 2022

St Mary's Catholic Voluntary Academy are seeking to appoint 2 excellent, caring and experienced qualified Teaching Assistant's.  We will offer the successful applicants a welcoming and supportive team where everyone is committed to staff development and raising standards for all in an enjoyable, challenging and purposeful environment.

You will need to be committed to children’s learning; have high aspirations, drive and ambition and work collaboratively with all stakeholders.

You will be responsible for:

Working with class teachers to raise the learning and attainment of pupils

Promoting pupils’ independence, self-esteem and social inclusion

Giving support to pupils, individually or in groups, so they can access the curriculum, take part in learning and experience a sense of achievement
