We have a great opportunity for a Teaching Assistant 2 to work closely with the young people within our school. Lansdowne School is an ‘Outstanding’ secure children’s unit and is an extremely successful provision within East Sussex local authority and as part of the SABDEN Multi Academy Trust. The home is undergoing an expansion programme and we are looking to appoint to a Teaching Assistant 2, to support children and young people with complex learning and emotional needs, across a range of subjects. 

The school is seeking applications from enthusiastic candidates, able to work collaboratively within the small school team, to motivate and support the education of young people as well as liaising with home staff to meet social and emotional needs. 

You will be resilient and resourceful, able to remain calm in sometimes challenging situations; you will enjoy working in a structured environment with learning and enjoyment at the heart of all that we do.

This role will also have the responsibility of supporting the core areas of English and Maths.
