Haydon is a large, friendly and creative school in North West London. We have been judged as outstanding by OFSTED. We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to thrive in our supportive environment.

You would be required to work in the classroom supporting students, working within a committed and dedicated team whose aim is to support and develop the potential of students with Special Educational needs.

Haydon School is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form in Middlesex serving pupils from the age of 11-18. The secondary school, situated in Eastcote, Pinner has approximately 2000 students on record. 

Haydon school was established in 1977 and converted to academy status in 2011 and was identified as outstanding by Ofsted in 2007.

Haydon School’s vision is to encourage student's success and help them recognise their capabilities in a caring and stimulating learning environment. The secondary school promotes equality and works to offer individuals opportunities to help them get the best out of their learning experience. Haydon School wishes to develop the student's sense of self-awareness, self-reliance and ability to work independently, and strives to provide an enriching and balanced curriculum. The school nurtures children so that they are fully prepared for the challenges of an ever-changing society, and works to develop their global understanding. Pupils are encouraged to get involved in extra-curricular activities to further their opportunities and expand their skills outside the classroom, which range from sports and art clubs. Incentives to develop leadership skills include The Duke of Edinburgh Award and Student Voice.
