If you are passionate about helping students of all abilities to achieve their full potential and are looking for more classroom experience we would like to introduce you to Cuckoo Hall Academies Trust (CHAT). We are a Charitable Trust set up to run and manage four Primary and one Secondary Academies serving up to 3000 children. Based in Enfield we are focused on driving up the quality of education provision and standards. We are now recruiting Teaching Assistants to lead English and Mathematics groups, SEN and other intervention groups and work one to one with pupils.

Join us as a Teaching Assistant and you will support the teaching staff meet the day to day needs of pupils. This will involve participating in the planning of lessons, preparing and maintaining an effective learning environment as well as providing pupils with specific support while encouraging independence. You will also help with assessing children’s learning and keeping records of their development. You will undertake playground supervision during breaks too.

You must hold a level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning along with GCSE Grade C or above in Maths and English as well as the ability to work and communicate with young children, teachers and parents. You will have some experience of working in a relevant educational setting where you will have gained an understanding of issues, such as Safeguarding in School, Health and Safety and Data Protection. You will be adaptable, patient, kind and possess a genuine interest in children.
