ABC are recruiting for a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant at a large school in Quinton, Birmingham from September 2019.

This busy primary school has a growing reputation and is rapidly improving due to the new Head Teacher taking the school to the next level of success. The school aims to cater for pupils of a broad range of abilities and backgrounds, and also allow access to a supportive and inclusive environment for learning.

The successful candidate must:

• Be NVQ Level 3 qualified in a relevant subject (equivalent or above)

• Have excellent working knowledge of the National Curriculum

• Demonstrate a positive work ethic

• Act as a positive role model to both pupils and colleagues

• Work well as part of a team with strong communication skills

• Be able to build good rapport with all pupils

• Understand the developmental stages of learning 

• Be proficient in literacy, numeracy and IT

The position will be working within lower KS2 year groups; however, you must be flexible to work in small groups and also on a 1-1 basis where required.
