The academy has a broad, balanced and creative curriculum which aims to ensure that children are engaged in their learning and above all enjoy coming to school. It benefits from enthusiastic, caring and professional staff who work hard to ensure this happens.

The academy wants every child to reach their potential, with a lifelong love of learning, offering pupils, not only new skills, knowledge and understanding, but also key learning attributes that will enable them to succeed as they begin their path in life.

Being at the heart of the community and enjoying good support from all stakeholders, it understands that partnership is an important aspect to the ongoing development of schools and academies.
