We require a Teaching Assistant in our specialist Communications & Interaction Needs (CoIN) Centre.
36 hours per week Monday to Friday, 39 weeks per year Surrey Pay Grade S3 £13180 - £14909 (FTE £15461 - £17489)
The post-holder will work in conjunction with our CoIN Centre Manager and other Teaching Assistants to provide in-class and pastoral support to students with complex difficulties associated with communication/interaction difficulties and Autistic Spectrum Disorder.
Duties will also include support for fine motor skills difficulties such as assistance with buttons and shoes before and after PE and helping to organise students’ equipment, ensuring they are prepared for lessons.
Further duties will include supervising other students using the CoIN Centre and to help create an appropriate learning environment.
