In this way, the school helps them to become responsible citizens of the world and independent members of society when they leave for higher education. The school uses Ofsted’s inspection framework as a guide for its continual improvement, focusing on pupil outcomes, quality of teaching, quality of leadership and management, and the behaviour and safety of its students.

Ofsted

“The leadership team has maintained the good quality of education in the school since the last inspection. [The headteacher and leadership team] are intent on improving the life chances of the pupils in [their] care. [They] understand the needs of pupils well and work tirelessly to meet them. This is leading to rapid improvements in what pupils achieve during their time at Orchards Academy.”
