The role entails:
· Working 1:1 with pupils
· Working across KS1 with a variety of classes
· Assisting the class teachers with lessons
· Covering some areas of the curriculum with small groups
About the school:
A Primary school in Alfreton are looking for a level 3 qualified TA willing to assist a qualified teacher in a class of 25 children. The role will require a TA who is capable of dealing with challenging behaviour as well as assisting children who require 1:1 assistance within the class.
The school’s most recent Ofsted report listed them as ‘good’ and they take pride in their status in the local community. A successful candidate will aim to provide a calm and happy atmosphere and set high standards of respect, courtesy, hard work and achievement for all children who attend.
The position is on a supply basis, so candidates will be considered even if they are only available for a few days per week.

Please note that all teachers must hold valid QTS. For any Teaching Assistant roles you must hold an NVQ Level 2 or above, a relevant educational degree or a minimum of 3 months relevant experience within a UK school in the last 5 years.
