Due to a number of new students joining us and natural progression of year groups, we are now looking to recruit a number of Teaching Assistants.
To join us at Teaching Assistant, you will have the ability to support student’s academic learning in an autism friendly way, as well as supporting wider behavioural and emotional needs.
We are looking to recruit five permanent members of staff and one on a fixed term basis - this will be initially on a three month basis to cover sickness, however this could be come a permanent position for the right candidate.
You can expect your working hours to be (however this could vary):
Monday - 8.15am - 5pm
Tuesday - 8.15am - 4.45pm
Wednesday - 8.15am - 4pm
Thursday - 8.15am - 4pm
Friday - 8.15am - 3.30pm
You will also:
- Share our passion for high aspiration and achievement for all
- Have excellent interpersonal skills
- Have a good knowledge of autism and/or experience of working with young people on the autistic spectrum
- Be highly organised, adaptable and enthusiastic.
You must also hold a full driving licence, as part of your role will be working off site with students engaging in curriculum activities, using school vehicles.

Our Post 16 site, Progression House in Hinckley, is where students have the opportunity to begin college courses or work placements with full support from our staff.
