Chorlton High School are welcoming applications for the post of Teaching Assistant to support our learners. The post holder will be joining a supportive, diverse and energetic team of Teaching Assistants, led by experienced professionals and senior leaders in school. 

Main purpose of the job:  

  • To support access to learning and provide general support for the school in the management of pupils and resources, as directed by senior staff.  
  • To work collaboratively with all staff and parents in order to support pupil wellbeing and to support our learners to be creative, happy, and successful. 

This role is offered at Grade 2, 35 hours per week and working term-time only plus 5 training days. The starting pro rata salary is £16,029. The full time equivalent is £18,698.
