Teaching Assistant (Level 1)

Contract term:  Temporary for one year 

Contract type:  Full time, term time only

Salary:  Band 2, £18,065 - £18,795 pro rata

Start date:  30 August 2019

St Teresa’s Catholic Primary Academy, part of the Our Lady of Lourdes Multi Academy Trust, are seeking to appoint Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and hard-working team.  We are looking for a teaching assistant who:

• has experience of working with children who have SEND, particularly those with behavioural needs; 

• has experience of the early years setting and a sound knowledge of the curriculum;

• is able to work as part of the whole school team and on their own initiative;

• is able to develop close links with parents and liaise carefully with colleagues and outside agencies;

• is an excellent communicator with a secure knowledge of safeguarding practices
