FIXED TERM CONTRACT

39 WEEK CONTRACT – 30.86 HOURS PER WEEK

Band C - £14,020.91 P.A. – ACTUAL SALARY

(SCP 4- 5 : £18,933 - £19,312 FTE)

Required Teaching Assistant to work with pupils with SEND, including Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Medical and Physical Impairments, learning difficulties and health care needs.

The successful candidate will be skillful in working with young people.  They will have an understanding of the impact of additional needs on pupils learning. They will also have experience of working with pupils with social, emotional and mental health issues. Patience, creativity, initiative and desire to learn are essential qualities for this post. The diverse role of the TA requires enthusiasm, commitment, flexibility and ambition for young people.

Woodchurch High School is a very successful, over-subscribed co-educational Church of England Academy.  There are over 1400 pupils on roll, who are supported by 114 teaching staff and  over 120 support staff.
