We require an enthusiastic member of staff to work as a Teaching Assistant Level 2 (Learning Support Assistant) at Three Rivers Academy on a full-time / part-time basis. 

This role supports an individual teacher, or teachers, in delivering and evaluating programmes and adapting teaching materials to suit the particular requirements of specific students and groups which may include students with special needs. 

Full time and Part time positions available. Part-time working Pattern – exact hours to be discussed as the interview. 

Please note that the Teaching Assistants start at 8.30am. 

Candidates should able to demonstrate basic numeracy and literacy, e.g. through GCSE qualification in English and Maths or equivalent, or able to evidence ability at an equivalent level and should possess excellent interpersonal and listening skills with a commitment to helping each student achieve their full potential.

This position may be of interest to people who wish to consider a career in teaching to get classroom experience prior to commencing teacher training.

The successful candidate will be subject to a satisfactory enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service.

Three Rivers Academy is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school situated in Hersham, Surrey. There are approximately 924 students at the school between 11-18 years.    

Formerly Rydens School, Rydens Enterprise School and Sixth Form College converted to academy status in 2012. The school opened in 1954.
