An exciting opportunity has arisen regarding the post of Teaching Assistant at Outwood Academy Riverside.

This is a chance to be part of something unique, life changing and really special. A new free school in the centre of Middlesbrough which is pivotal to the regeneration project in Middlehaven. In its 2nd year, Riverside will continue to grow with its students and staff as a prestigious school with family values and academic rigour. At Outwood Academy Riverside the staff work closely together and are committed to creating a centre of excellence through innovation, dedication and a love for teaching and improving life chances.

Working as a Teaching Assistant is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in schools and contribute to the learning of students. The successful candidate needs to be extremely well organised, IT literate and have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Applicants should possess relevant teaching assistant qualifications, a high level of basic skills and be able to work as part of a team.

We believe that all teaching and support staff posts within our Family of Schools are key posts in terms of supporting student success and achievement across a broad range of subjects and experiences. As such we are keen to recruit dedicated and ambitious professionals who will add value to our Academy in both academic terms and through involvement in the fabric of learning and success beyond the classroom.
