Mascalls Academy are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join their vibrant team as soon as possible. If you are currently looking for a role which allows you to support students by using innovative methods to develop their learning skills, please continue to submit an application! As a member of the Learning Support Department, you are responsible for supporting children with Special Educational Needs in a classroom environment and working with staff and pupils to promote whole school incentives.

Working under the direct instruction of the SENCO, your role would be to support access learning for pupils and provide general support to teachers in the management of students. Teaching Assistants need to be able to respond positively to change in order to meet the needs of students and help them overcome particular barriers to learning.

This is a full time (37 hours per week), permanent position offering an actual salary of £16,594 per annum based on Term Time + 1 week of inset (£19,293 full time equivalent).
