Job overview
We are looking for a number of enthusiastic and lively teaching assistants to work with pupils who have physical and communication difficulties. The roles involve support in the classroom and a high level of physical work and personal care of pupils. The posts may be based within our primary or secondary departments.
We have purpose designed buildings co-located with mainstream settings and are a very successful school, graded as “outstanding” by Ofsted. Candidates must have English and Maths GCSE Grade C or equivalent. Successful short-listed candidates will be asked to provide proof of these qualifications at interview or be prepared to sit an equivalency test during their probationary period. We will not shortlist if we are unable to obtain references.
