Teaching Assistant

Fixed term for one year in the first instance, Term time only

27.50 Hours per week Monday to Friday (to include cover for 30 minutes each day for lunchtime duties)

We are looking for an energetic, ambitious and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant (Special Support) to join our outstanding school. St Giles C.E Primary School is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work alongside a child starting in EYFS in September with a Social Communication Disorder.

Applicants must hold a Teaching Assistant NVQ Level 3 or equivalent. You should also have an understanding of children with special educational needs. Experience of working in an EYFS setting is desirable.

Part of the duties of this post requires the postholder to support the child during the lunchtime period.
