Required a flexible, adaptable and enthusiastic individual to support learning across the curriculum.

Person Summary

You will need:

• Confidence to lead the teaching of small groups of children in phonics, spelling and maths.

• A clear understanding of strategies to motivate and coach pupils with low self-esteem.

• Experience of working in a school.

• A flexible approach to your work and ability to work as part of a class and key stage team.

• To be confidential and discreet concerning pupils and their needs.

• To have an understanding of safeguarding.

• Good standards of English and mathematics, as you will be required to support small groups of pupils during lessons.

You will:

• Place children at the heart of learning;

• Have recent school experience;

• Have the ability to work as an integral part of a team;

• Prioritise and mange time effectively;

• Have the ability to communicate clearly and sensitively, taking into the account views of others;

• Honour confidentiality;

• Establish a positive rapport and relationships with staff and pupils;

• Be highly motivated and have the ability to use personal self-evaluation to become more effective;

• Be keen to continue to develop your practice within our school.
