NJC scale 3-5, (£18,562 to 19,312 Full time equivalent), depending on experience.  This will be pro rata for part-time and term time only;  Actual pay = £9.62 to 10.01 per hour

We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join our Study and Support team, to work specifically with a student joining Year 7 in September, on a one to one basis on an individualised curriculum, as well as supporting within some lessons.  The postholder will also be required to support the student with a speech and language programme and motor skills development programme.

As this position is linked to a named child, it is fixed term for one year, reviewed annually.

Previous experience is not essential but a good level of education is required.  Applicants should have effective team working skills and the ability to work well with teenagers. Support and training are provided.
