TEACHING ASSISTANTS LEVEL 1

(Permanent and one-year fixed term)

Band 3 point 6-11 £20,043 - £22,129 pro rata 33.5 hours Term Time Only

Brentwood School and Community College specialise in the education of students with severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties, complex needs and autism. Brentwood benefits from sate of the art facilities which include a 11-19 school and post 19 college.

Due to the continuing growth of this highly successful school and college, we are looking for Level 1 teaching assistants who:

• Have the vision, skills and energy to provide the best opportunity for every student within our school and college

We are particularly interested in recruiting staff with experience of:

• Supporting students with autism

• Working with 16-22 year olds

• Outdoor learning

• Working with students with SEN

We are also interested in recruiting graduates who are considering a career in teaching, social work, speech and language therapy or OT. We will provide a comprehensive training programme to equip you with the skills required to work with young people with a range of needs. This would be offered as a one-year fixed term contract.
