35 hours per week – term time only + INSET days

NJC Salary Range: G3 – Point 4 - 6

Starting salary: Point 4 (pro rata)

Shire Oak Academy is a popular and innovative Academy under the leadership of our new Headteacher.

We are seeking to recruit two TAs with experience working with children with special educational needs. The role will require you to be able to identify where a student needs extra support and provide them with such. You will be working closely with class teachers to ensure each student is engaged and gets the education they deserve. Enthusiasm, the ability to work as part of a team and the commitment to raising student achievement by removing barriers to learning are essential to the role. A GCSE qualification in English and Mathematics would be an advantage, along with a teaching assistant qualification.
