Who Are We?
Ursuline High School, Wimbledon, is an OFSTED outstanding, voluntary-aided, comprehensive high school for Roman Catholic girls from 11-18 under the Trusteeship of the Catholic Archdiocese of Southwark.
Merton schools are top in England for Progress 8, the Ursuline has been in the top 5% for 4 years and has a tradition of academic excellence, addressing individual needs and service in the spirit of St Angela. The curriculum equips girls with skills for the modern, global world and develops them as independent and critical learners and confident communicators.
Housed in our recently renovated St Angela's Centre, the Arts Department is a consistently high achieving department in the school and one that is united by a strong and supportive team spirit, the department hosts many events, including a yearly school production, music concerts which are always well attended by staff, students and parents.
Our Arts Department
The department is well resourced with excellent facilities and an outstanding gallery to display student work, with an annual art exhibition. Staff are experienced and have an excellent work ethic.
The Arts Technician would work independently, whilst liaising with the Technology Technician and Marketing Officer/School Office in regards to Faculty events. The Arts Technician would report to the Head of Arts Faculty.
Who are we looking for?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic individual to work within the Arts department providing technical and administrative assistance to the subjects of Music, Art and Drama.
The school has amazing students and an outstanding CPD programme. It is situated in the heart of Wimbledon with easy access to Central London and the South East.
