Education Scotland

“The overall quality of teaching was good. Lessons were consistently well prepared and structured. Time was used productively, with a good range of teaching approaches including whole class and group teaching. Most teachers were systematic in ensuring that pupils were fully aware of the content and aims of lessons and in reviewing what had been learned… Some lessons were exceptionally successful in engaging pupils with their learning, through stimulating teaching and imaginative pupil activities.”
