As a Technology and Art Teacher, you will bring pupils' creativity to life, teaching important skills that will help young people shape successful, exciting careers in the growing creative industries across the world. To succeed, you must be thoroughly dedicated and committed to driving standards and raising achievement through the delivery of outstanding lessons.

We are looking for an innovative practitioner who is passionate about empowering pupils, providing them with the skills they require to excel in the modern workplace and in society itself. Both Newly Qualified and experienced Teachers are encouraged to apply.

About us

The DfE have granted permission for the academy to become a standalone academy from September 2020. The recently appointed Principal is determined for all pupils to succeed and has the highest standards and expectation, underpinned by the values of kindness, resilience and greatness. Staff wishing to join the academy on its exciting journey must share the belief that all pupils are capable of excelling in both their academic studies and their personal development.

“The academy ensured that all pupils succeeded in higher education and skilled employment, worked at the cutting edge of their chosen profession and had a lasting positive impact on their family, community and world.”

In return

The academy is part of the Greenwood Academies Trust (GAT) which has a proven track record in school improvement. Being part of the Trust means that we are able to share specialist best practice and work collaboratively with colleagues in other academies. As a GAT employee, you will receive excellent opportunities for career progression and access to bespoke CPD from our Learning Alliance to enhance your professional growth.

For NQTs looking to join the Trust, you can be assured that we will invest in developing your practice to ensure you succeed. All NQTs are required to attend the NQT development programme, where you will be taken through a range of core areas of professional development, including induction and training days where all the NQTs from the Trust are brought together.

This training doesn’t stop at NQTs as the Learning Alliance also offers programmes for Teachers looking to develop techniques and strategies to improve classroom practice.

If you are interested in working at the leading-edge of education, and would like to make a difference to the life chances of young people, we would like to hear from you.
