We wish to appoint a Technician to join our existing support team. You will work closely with the Technology department to deliver an efficient and effective support service to staff and students. Previous experience in an education environment, dealing with textiles materials and with computer aided design would be an advantage but is not essential. Applicants should possess appropriate experience and qualifications that will allow them to work effectively within the department.
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills which will allow them to engage with students and the technology team. A flexible approach to work is a prerequisite as the role will require supporting staff and students in the classroom. You will also have the confidence to be able to use all equipment and machinery fully, however training will be provided.
